Trust & Society – The Global Network on Trust (or T&S) is a research network connecting scholars of trust with practitioners, institutions, policymakers, religious community leaders, and other social actors. Our goal is to get cutting-edge research on trust into the hands of people who can use it. T&S is a network that integrates all disciplinary perspectives and subject areas within trust research across the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The crises of trust faced by society are complex and multifaceted; and our trust research should be too. We are especially interested in generating dialogue and collaboration between disciplines and groups that do not normally talk to each other. T&S is a project of the Luxembourg School of Religion & Society. The mission of the LSRS is to bring together researchers from different disciplines, nationalities, religious (and non-religious) affiliations to work together on projects of social importance. Its vision is a cohesive pluralist society within which diverse religious communities and leaders contribute; its promise, to be a place where one can learn with and from the other.

We think it would be great if researchers interested in trust could get an overview of what is going on in different fields all in one place. That’s why we have created a platform for trust researchers from all disciplines to share their research in a publicly accessible format on our Publications page. Any scholar who has published peer-reviewed trust research can share this as a Member to the network. Network Members may also create a profile for the site to highlight their research as well as promote trust-relevant events on our Events page.

For many people, trust has a significant impact on their personal and professional lives. We want to make it easy to access high-quality, accurate information about trust. So, we aim for the research shared on our site to always be accompanied by an accessible summary, and we are also working on curating a suite of resources on trust (helpful talks, videos, podcasts, etc.) that will be added to the site next year. T&S also wants to be able to offer training, consultation, and workshops on trust to institutions and businesses in partnership with network members. Interested parties may feel free to be in touch with us and we can talk more about connecting you with the most relevant experts to develop solutions for your specific needs.

Researchers (graduate students, postdocs, professors, and independent researchers) working on trust can join as Members. Practitioners doing trust related work or projects can join as Partner Institutions. If you are interested in being involved with the network but do not fit into these categories, feel free to get in touch with us and we can always make other arrangements.

Fill out the form on the "Network" page to create a profile and we will get in touch with you. To share research, news or events, fill out the forms on the "Publications" and "Events" page.

Members can fill out a profile on our website to showcase their research profile and current trust projects, as well as share trust related research, news, and events—all free of charge. We hope to organize collaborations on both academic and outreach projects between members as well where there is interest, and these we will discuss on an individual basis.

As a Member, you can fill out a profile on our website to showcase your research profile and current trust projects, as well as share your trust related publications, news, and events. You can also share published research. Fill out the form on the "Network" page to create a profile and we will get in touch with you. You can also share research, news and events by filling out the forms on the "Publications" and "Events" page.

Any peer-reviewed research relevant to the study of trust can be shared, such as journal articles, books, contributions to edited volumes, etc. We ask that all contributions be accompanied by a brief, accessible summary and the authors only share PDFs of work for which they have copyright clearance (i.e. open access, preprint, etc.)

All disciplines and research areas are welcome. We love promoting interdisciplinary research and supporting collaboration between disciplines that are not normally in conversation with each other.

Things like web articles, podcasts, talks, videos, etc. can also be great resources and educational tools. We are going to be adding a Resources page to the website to curate these kinds of media. So if you have created resources on trust for a more general audience, we would love to hear about those as well.
